Deep Sea & Bottom FishingMaui is famous for its big game fishing. Record breaking marlin or swordfish have been pulled from our waters. Sailfish can run more that 200 pounds and the blue marlin more than 1,000 pounds, the
mahimahi (the 'dolphin fish'), Tuna and Ono (Wahoo)are strong fighting fish, an absolute thrill to hook. Most of our fish here in Hawaii are caught high speed trolling (8-10 knots)usually with Lures.(see inside for the exception)
